The humbleness of the dandelion, supporting others without trying to be the star of the show! 💕

Thank you so much. I lost my father, not that we had much of a relationship in more than 20 years. But something has changed, none-the-less.

Let me know if you use dandelion in your salad, and what you think of it!

Sorry to hear this. 💚

After reading your words I went straight to the garden and ate some leaves which were peppery and delicious. I’m taking dandelion sourdough sandwiches to work tomorrow!! 🥰

Wow... that's wonderful! 💕 I literally just made myself 2 cups of coffee but boiled this time instead of cafetiere, and added cardamom, and it was everything I want in a cup of coffee! What an amazing little plant! 🌼🌼🌼

My favorite use is dandelion rhubarb pie, gather 500ml of blosoms add to your favorite pie recpie for rhubarb pie. The flowers nutralize the acidity of the of the rhubarb, and add a little sweetness to the pie. we look forward to this pie every spring. We should have both by the end of April.

Hi Sean, that sounds wonderful! I will definitely give that a try... would it work with other fruits, too, do you think?

Thank you for this! I used to eat the greens when I was a child. Unfortunately, my neighbor sprays for weeds, so I won't harvest in my yard. There's something joyful and resilient about dandelions. Bees love them too:)

Hi Lisa, that is the perfect description of dandelions... joyful and resilient! Love it! What a shame your neighbour sprays her weeds. Maybe next time you're out for a walk you can gather some... so long as its not a popular place for dog walkers! 😜
